Manufacturers these days are more focused on putting a long zoom in a compact body and this is a byproduct of a similar theme. Canon PowerShot SX210 is a 14 mega pixel camera with a 28mm-equivalent wide-angle lens and has a 14x zoom. The resolution and zoom range is upped and the body is cut down to a slim size in order to make it more pocket friendly. The bigger screen also comes along with a bigger resolution. This makes sure you get plenty of real estate on the display to check the photos.
